US SENATE is Hiring a Fleet Operations Specialist #5467 Near Washington, DC

Duties

Ensures that SAA fleet vehicles, including shuttle buses, are properly serviced per the vehicle’s maintenance schedule. Washes, waxes, and buffs SAA fleet vehicles’ interior and exterior; schedules detailing services. Serves as a driver to fulfill transportation requests. Performs driving, loading, and/or coordinating duties during COOP events and exercises; maintains COOP vehicle bags, ensuring that bags are properly stored and stocked. Creates and maintains several databases to track fleet inventories, vehicles’ maintenance and cleaning schedules, keys, parking permits issued, COOP materials, and cleaning and maintenance supplies. Ensures security of all SAA fleet vehicles. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

  • At least two years’ experience servicing vehicles or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Special Skills/ Knowledge

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license for at least five years and a good driving record. Proficiency in computers to include the use of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to operate moderate to large machinery.

Education

High School Diploma or GED.
